In research carried out worldwide it is known that approximately 200 million women have endometriosis. The fact that this disease, which is present in 1 in every 10 women, is seen particularly in the reproductive age, that is to say in young women, creates an important risk for society. Although an increase has been observed in recent years in the rate at which chocolate cyst disease appears, we do not know whether we encounter it more because the occurrence of the disease has increased or because we diagnose it more easily.

But we also know that there has been a marked increase in its frequency with industrialisation. It is not possible to establish a definite cause and effect relationship on this matter. Along with this, it is also known that genetic structures arising from family ties and a number of hormonal disorders contribute to the formation of chocolate cyst.
Because it is not known exactly which causes chocolate cyst arises from, there is also no definite method of protection. Although it is thought among the public that there are various herbal methods for protecting against chocolate cyst, this is an incorrect idea. Some methods are put forward under the name of alternative medicine.
However, any protective or preventive effect of these methods has not been proven to date. For this reason patients who are diagnosed with chocolate cyst need to choose definitely proven treatment methods. Apart from these methods there is no proven herbal or other treatment method.

Pain that is generally accepted as normal may sometimes not be normal. If you are experiencing severe pain you should definitely see a doctor. Do not listen to anyone. What seems normal to everyone may not be normal for you. I too am an endometriosis patient. I had an operation in July 2018, and how glad I am that I came across @drtanerusta. ✔️ I had a cyst inside my abdomen. I was experiencing pain every month, and life is very short, so why should you spend a few days of every month lying down? For now, thank goodness, I am better, but there is no definitive solution for endometriosis. Become aware of it. Do not neglect it.

I had an operation 2 months ago; I cannot describe what pain I suffered for years, what I went through up to the day of the operation!
